Transforming Teaching and Learning
National and local priorities steer our agenda for action. The national
perspective includes remote access working, People First, Every Child
Matters, Community Cohesion, the Children and Young People's Plan and the
Gershon report on efficiency and effectiveness. The local perspective
includes ensuring the schools are making effective use
of our membership of E2BN (our broadband consortium),
assisting the county in planning for Building Schools
for the Future, implementing learning platforms and
integrated Management Information Systems, responding to
needs within the Transforming Learning and Teaching
agenda, and supporting the development of academies and
trusts. Bedford i-Tec is working with schools, local
authorities and government departments to improve the
life chances of children and young people. We are
partnered with the largest integrated school improvement
service in the country, and take a learner-centred
approach that places the user at the heart of ICT. |
